STEINER INNOVATIONS, LLC Launches Innovative Shade to Protect Infants' Skin and Eyes

COSTA MESA, CA --(Marketwired - March 11, 2016) -  STEINER INNOVATIONS, LLC announced today that it is launching the Sweet Baby Shade, a portable, impact-resistant shade that can be easily attached to a stroller or car seat to protect an infant's skin and eyes from the damaging rays of the sun.

Protecting infants from the harmful effects of the sun is especially important because their skin possesses little melanin. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, 90 percent of all skin cancers are caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays, and sustaining five or more sunburns in youth can increase lifetime melanoma risk by 80 percent.

"We set out to create a product that would block harmful ultraviolet rays, but it also had to be affordable and easy-to-use," said Don Steiner, president of STEINER INNOVATIONS. "And, unlike other products that are currently on the market, our Sweet Baby Shade allows infants to have a full view of their parents and the surrounding environment as they are being transported, which provides much-needed stimulation that is so crucial to a child's development."

The Sweet Baby Shade, which is the first product in the company's Sweet Baby Brands line, will be launched with a Kickstarter campaign in early March 2016. The company has plans to follow this launch with the release of several more products designed to enrich children's lives over the next several years.

Steiner, a leading entrepreneur, founded STEINER INNOVATIONS in 2012 with the goal of creating products and solutions to improve the quality of life for families. Mr. Steiner is also President of Profit Recovery Partners (PRP) LLC, a leading cost reduction consulting firm in North America.
